OCIAL USE OF LANGUAGE PROGRAMME
MAINSTREAM CLASSES

SULP-Mainstream Classes (SULP-MC) is suitable for key stage 2 pupils who do not have special needs. Pupils with special needs who are following the main programme (information on Juniors on the SULP dropdown menu at the top of the page) can additionally benefit from SULP-MC alongside their mainstream peers but SULP-MC alone is not suitable for pupils with SEN, even those in mainstream.

I wrote SULP-MC because I’m aware that there are a number of children who don’t have special needs but who struggle a little socially nevertheless. It seems that some of us are born with better social skills than others…and those who aren’t blessed with the social skills and charms of some of their peers can do with a helping hand! So SULP-MC is for mainstream class teachers looking for a teaching resource like this. SULP focuses on social understanding as well as use of skills and teachers tell me that it helps children get more out of the DfE SEAL resources.

SULP-MC price (four sets; 14 books and 4 discs) £350 plus delivery £10
